I am a scientist in the Feed Safety section. My field of expertise is nutritional toxicology, including contaminants in feed ingredients, fish feed and fish, and the interaction between contaminants and nutrients in fish.

My main research interest is the toxicokinetics of trace elements in fish, and the carry-over of trace elements from feed to fish. I work with zebrafish as a model species and Atlantic cod and Atlantic salmon as target species.


I have investigated the toxicokinetics of arsenic and mercury, and are currently studying the interaction between mercury and selenium in fish.


I am also interested in the analysis of trace elements and their chemical species in marine samples, including feed and feed ingredients. I am working with method development and validation.
